Full Job Description:

This position requires the person to be creative, self-motivated, and open minded to work in a team environment. This position’s duties are to develop detailed models and drawings that are used for fabricating custom products. In this position, the person will also oversee any product that they put into production under supervision. This position uses corrective actions while the products are in production to ensure that they are being produced to meet the needs and demand of the customer. This position requires to ensure all products match overall dimensions that customer wants and needs for fit and function.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop 3D models.
  • Create detailed drawings.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Ensure specifications and requirements are meet.
  • Ensure product dimensions meet overalls to fit field locations.
  • Ensure parts developed can be created with tooling used in manufacturing environment.
  • Revise and correct any modeling that needs be for future use.
  • Organize, complete, and maintain files/paperwork for project production.
  • Communicate effectively to team members and others using Microsoft Suite

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Capable of using CAD to read and develop technical drawings.
  • Understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance) and use it in effective and efficient manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have one year of Autodesk experience- AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience of sheet metal fabrication.
  • Knowledge or experience of CNC press brake functions and operations.
  • Knowledge of welding methods.
  • Experience of manufacturing and manufacturing process.
  • Use of Microsoft Suite.
