Essential Functions.
Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
Maintain spreadsheets for data collection.
Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
Interact with department management, production and other inspectors as needed.
Test incoming/outgoing materials.
Send bad product back to production to be fixed, before allowing product to be shipped out.
Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for processing materials; purchased material, manufactured material, and finished goods.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Responsible for calibration of measuring and test equipment in all areas and maintaining the records of such.
Review NCMR’s to assure accuracy, verifying reject reasons and updating NCMR database.
Assist in the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance program, which includes input of data, assessment capability, establishment of charts and forms, maintenance of data, development of new systems, etc.
Assist in auditing of products and production processes in support of documented business quality goals and objectives.
FAI’s- Conduct inspections in accordance to prints and update FAI database.
Incoming inspection/outgoing dock audits, maintain inspection sheets.
Analyze Service returns and coordinate disposition and feedback to management.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried position, and hours of work and days are decided by production and your reporting Manager. Typical hours for this position are as follows: Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm, with potential overtime.
Travel No travel is required for this position. Preferred Education and Experience:
BS in a technical or math related field / Mechanical or MET preferred.
Manufacturing/industry experience.
Quality inspection experience.
Must be able to work in team environment.
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Access).
Must have good communication skills and the ability to work external organizations (i.e. suppliers, customers, and production personnel
