Contract Manager - DoD
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Client’s prime contracts and subcontracts with a variety of customers, including U.S. Government, prime contractors, and international clients.
- Prepare and present responses to customer requests, proposals, and quotations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Negotiate and execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), terms and conditions, pricing, schedules, quality requirements, modifications, import/export requirements, dispute settlements, and other legal or contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure adherence to legal and contractual requirements.
- Provide leadership, both directly and indirectly, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and maximize value for the client.
- Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to manage and prioritize conflicting priorities while maintaining a high level of effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise creative solutions to complex challenges, lead stakeholders toward resolution, and ensure flawless execution.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and the Client’s standard contractual requirements.
- Adaptability, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with 5-10 years preferred in government contracting or within a government agency.
- Direct experience in government contracting preferred; experience in aerospace or DoD business is a plus.
- Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR, and ITAR/export regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing both internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
