Maintaining, repairing, and modifying mechanical equipment and components.
Installing components including but not limited to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components on new and existing machines and equipment.
Ability to run fabrication/CNC equipment. (ie. Mills, Lathes, Grinders, etc.)
Ability to weld/braze various metals.
Ability to train operators and maintenance staff on proper operation of equipment.
Ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and to incorporate ideas for making processes more efficient.
Requirements:
Maintaining a Safe and Clean working environment.
Following Verbal instructions and performing tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Engineer.
Build parts, assemble equipment, and perform repairs by reading and interpreting blueprints.
Daily use of hand tools, Mills, Lathes, Saws, Wire Welders, etc.
Flexible work schedule. (May be required to occasionally work a 10-12 hour shift to complete a project on time, may also be required to temporarily work during 2nd and/or 3rd shift or over a weekend.)
Practice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Ability to work continuous improvement of product quality and ISO-9001:2008.
Qualifications:
Relevant work experience repairing and/or building manufacturing equipment - An associate degree in engineering, drafting technology, Industrial technology, or Mechatronics would be beneficial.
Self-starter – able to plan and follow through independently on assignments.
Good written and verbal communication skills with an understanding that excellent internal and external customer service is the main goal.
