Sealed Systems / Refrigeration Engineer

We are seeking a Sealed System Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced cooling system engineering solutions for refrigeration products. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, leveraging technical strategies and best practices to drive successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, or Feature Innovation.
  • Design, test, and review refrigeration-based sealed systems across all product lines.
  • Utilize 8D methodology to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Perform mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to develop innovative and reliable cooling system solutions.
  • Develop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools.
  • Conduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement design modifications of existing product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in cooling systems, sealed systems, and refrigerated product designs.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
  • Experience in ice maker refrigeration design and system balancing.
  • Proficiency with flammable, low-GWP refrigerants and control system safety.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to sealed systems and cooling methods.
  • Proficiency in thermal simulation software.
  • Ability to plan and oversee laboratory testing with a hands-on approach to prototype development.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and clear communication of technical information.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
