Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer – Capital Projects & Machining
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support and advance our manufacturing and industrial engineering operations. This role plays a critical part in driving production efficiency, implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, and leading capital equipment and tooling projects.

What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
- Lead engineering projects to maximize production output through optimized machine utilization, tooling, methods, and time standards
- Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and mechanization solutions
- Drive capital equipment and tooling projects from concept through installation and production launch
- Conduct process reviews, equipment layout analysis, risk assessments, and material flow optimization
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects
- Prepare technical reports, cost justifications, and project proposals
- Coordinate tooling evaluations, testing, and vendor partnerships
- Work closely with CNC programmers, machinists, and operations teams to improve machining performance
- Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Strong project management experience, especially with capital equipment and facility improvement projects
- Hands-on manufacturing engineering background in a machining environment (horizontal boring experience preferred)
- Deep understanding of machining principles, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing mathematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (or similar), and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively across engineering, operations, and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
- PE license preferred
