We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to define and drive system architecture, requirements, integration, and validation for complex, multidisciplinary products.
This role partners closely with engineering, research & development, program management, and customers to translate product expectations into clear system designs and verified requirements. You’ll take a holistic approach to managing risk while coordinating interactions across battery products, embedded software, application software, cloud infrastructure, manufacturing processes, and test systems.
Partner with customers to define product specifications and real-world use cases
Develop system-level and derived requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Ensure compliance with internal processes and customer requirements through structured reviews
Identify, track, and manage technical and program risks using standardized systems engineering tools
Define verification and validation strategies for system requirements
Drive early design validation to reduce risk throughout the development lifecycle
Promote modular architectures to improve design reuse, scalability, and efficiency
Continuously improve system design, validation processes, and engineering tools
Support product integration planning and execution across disciplines
Contribute to the organization’s technical roadmap and long-term process improvements
Stay current on modern systems engineering tools, technologies, and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (required)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design, integration, verification, or systems engineering roles
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) preferred
Proficiency with requirements management tools such as DOORS
U.S. Person status required
Strong cross-functional communication and technical leadership skills
