Director of Human Resources

This is a highly visible leadership role for a hands-on HR professional who can serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while continuing to lead the day-to-day Human Resources function.

The HR Director will help build scalable HR programs, strengthen organizational capabilities, support operational growth, and develop a high-performing workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with executive leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change
• Leading employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Coaching managers and supervisors on leadership, communication, accountability, and employee development
• Overseeing recruiting for hourly, professional, and leadership positions
• Managing compensation, benefits, merit planning, pay equity, and vendor relationships
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Overseeing HRIS administration, onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR processes
• Developing HR metrics, dashboards, policies, procedures, and reporting
• Designing performance management, leadership development, and employee training programs
• Supervising, coaching, and developing the HR Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
• Manufacturing or multi-site operations experience strongly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
• Demonstrated success leading employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, compliance, and organizational development
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence leaders and connect people strategies to business objectives
• Excellent communication, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Experience within a private equity-backed organization, leading organizational change, scaling HR infrastructure, or supporting mergers and acquisitions would be especially valuable.
