Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment.
This position is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, and team performance. The Plant Manager will provide hands-on leadership to manufacturing leaders and team members while building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.

This position is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, and team performance. The Plant Manager will provide hands-on leadership to manufacturing leaders and team members while building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee engagement.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to group leaders, team leaders, and manufacturing team members.
- Monitor production schedules, efficiency, downtime, and other key performance indicators to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Identify manufacturing issues and implement short- and long-term corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on eliminating waste, improving processes, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Lead problem-solving activities when KPIs or operational goals are not achieved.
- Support development and management of departmental budgets and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Maintain standardized manufacturing processes, procedures, and work methods.
- Partner with leadership and other departments on product improvement, cost reduction, and operational initiatives.
- Build a positive work environment based on accountability, communication, teamwork, trust, and respect.
Required:
- Proven manufacturing leadership experience within a high-volume production environment.
- Strong experience leading and developing manufacturing teams.
- Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, cost, and operational performance.
- Experience managing production KPIs and leading corrective-action/problem-solving initiatives.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational efficiency.
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with quality and environmental management systems.
- Budgeting, cost reduction, and manufacturing performance management experience.
- Experience developing frontline supervisors and manufacturing leaders.
